ICP Forge Terms of Service

Welcome to ICP Forge ("we," "us," or "the Platform"), a decentralized prediction market built on the Internet Computer (ICP). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Platform, including any content, functionality, and services offered through https://icpforge.com (or any successor domain).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
- You must not be located in, or a resident of, any jurisdiction where prediction markets, betting, or the use of the Platform is prohibited by law (including but not limited to the United States in certain states, and any sanctioned countries).
- You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
2. Non-Custodial Wallet & On-Chain Nature
ICP Forge is a fully decentralized, non-custodial application.
- We do not hold, control, or have access to your ICP or ckUSDC.
- All funds, bets, and fees are handled directly by the Internet Computer ledger canisters.
- You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet and principal. Loss of access to your wallet is permanent and irreversible.
3. Markets, Betting & Resolution
- All markets are created and resolved on-chain using automated HTTP outcalls to publicly available APIs or, in case of dispute, the built-in dispute window + admin review.
- Outcomes are final once resolved and payouts are executed.
- You understand that prediction markets involve risk of total loss. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of any API source or market outcome.
4. Fees
The Platform charges the following fees. All fee rates are set on-chain by the platform administrator and may change at any time. Current rates are displayed below and are fetched live from the canister.

Platform fees are transferred automatically to the platform owner's principal:

LP rewards are transferred automatically to the principal of the market creator. All fees are non-refundable.
5. Liquidity Provision
Market creators provide initial ICP liquidity to seed the Logarithmic Market Scoring Rule (LMSR) AMM pool. By creating a market you acknowledge:
- Initial liquidity is locked on-chain for the lifetime of the market.
- Any unused liquidity remaining after all winning payouts are distributed will be returned to the market creator on resolution.
- If you cancel a market, initial liquidity is refunded minus the ICP network transfer fee (0.0001 ICP).
- You earn LP rewards on every trade and payout as detailed in Section 4.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Create markets intended to manipulate outcomes or defraud users
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to spam markets
- Engage in wash trading or artificial volume
- Attempt to exploit resolution logic or HTTP outcalls
- Violate any applicable law (including gambling, securities, or sanctions laws)
We reserve the right to freeze, delist, or resolve any market that violates these rules.
7. Intellectual Property
The ICP Forge name, logo, design, and code (excluding open-source ICP components) are owned by the platform operator. You may not copy or use them without permission.
8. Disclaimers & No Warranty
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
We do not guarantee:
- Continuous availability
- Accurate market resolution
- Security against all possible attacks
- That the Platform complies with every jurisdiction's laws
THIS IS NOT FINANCIAL OR INVESTMENT ADVICE. Betting on prediction markets can result in the loss of your entire stake.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the platform operator, Caffeine AI, the Internet Computer Association, and all affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of funds, even if advised of the possibility.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the Platform at any time.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Singapore. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time, including adjusting fee rates on-chain. Fee changes take effect immediately as the canister state is updated. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will post the new "Last Updated" date.
